Harold Boas Gardens
Deli Street, West Perth

Manicured traditional gardens with bridge and waterfall. Bookings necessary with Perth City Council (9265 3333) and a fee is charged. Popular for civil marriage ceremonies.

Queens Gardens
Nelson Street, East Perth

Traditional gardens with bridges over lily ponds. Bookings necessary with Perth City Council (9265 3333) and a fee is charged. If there is a sporting event on at the WA Cricket ground then there maybe a problem with parking.

Wishing Well near War Memorial, Fraser Avenue
Photos taken with the city skyline in the background are always appreciated by relatives and friends outside WA. More suitable for a few quick photographs just of the bride and groom before moving to a more traditional setting such as the Botanic Gardens.

Hyde Park

Old fashioned park with lake, beautiful soft lighting through weeping willow trees with lake background. Hyde Park is fantastic in November when the Jacarandas are in full bloom and looking stunning – its like walking on a sea of purple & looks fab in photos.

Royal Street, East Perth

Often used by fashion photographers where the backdrop of ultra modern buildings enables creative and different photographs. Small garden area where back lit photographs taken under the trees in autumn and spring are attractive.

Victoria Gardens

Corner Royal Street & Trafalgar Road, East Perth

New Park in the East Perth redevelopment area overlooking the Claisebrook inlet, Attractive location with variety of settings.

Narrow Interchange

Mounts Bay Road

Garden and lake setting enables a wide variety of photographs to be taken with garden, lake or city skyline backgrounds. Kings Park is within easy walking distance over the footbridge.

Park at Foot of King’s Park

Located east of the old Swan Brewery complex, park is excellent for photographs in autumn when leaves are on the ground.
