The area around Cliff Street in Fremantle is one of the most popular wedding photography locations for couples getting married near Fremantle and the Cottesloe coastal strip. It has a great range of background textures all available within a short walk of the Cliff Street parking space at the western end of High Street. Whilst most of the buildings are from the Federation period there are a range of architectural styles and textured walls including old brick and limestone facades as well as access to the Round House and nearby Bathers Beach. Sometimes there can be a bit of a wait on a Saturday to get a slot to photograph against this popular backdrop, however it is worth the wait!

Drew and Lucy tied the knot at Basilica of St Patrick in Fremantle and then followed on with a reception at the newly renovated Coogee Life Saving club. The Coogee Life Saving club is a fantastic venue, especially if you have a large crowed and want some stunning views of the beach.

HOW DID DREW PROPOSE?
Drew organised a special day where we went to the dog beach in the morning, then had a “day spa” experience in the afternoon. We then went to dinner at a restaurant in Scarborough. After dinner, he insisted we take a walk on Scarborough Beach. When we were on the grassed area, Drew got down on one knee and proposed to me, where I said yes.
