Girls Just Want to Have Fun!

We love spending some time with our bride-to-be’s and bridesmaids whilst they are getting ready for the moment they walk down the aisle. It’s a great time to get to know what bridal party and to help in calming some of the nervous energy. We like to have some fun with the group, whilst it is important to get those all important bridal head shots and photographs of the bride and bridesmaids, bride and her mum, etc. I loved the matching PJ’s these girls had… working as one team!

What a great review!

We had the pleasure of shooting a wedding December last year up on a farm situated in Toodyay. The setting was really fitting to that of a wedding being held on a farm. It was tastefully decorated with a country charm and vibe to it. Our fabulous couple, Stuart and Sarah, wrote this wonderful review on our Facebook business page and our Google Plus page, and I thought I would share it on our main website too. I have included a few photographs from their wedding below, and I’m sure we will post some in a new blog post some…

Mothers Day Special

It’s nearly Mothers Day, so we are running a mini portrait special for $89. What is a mini portrait you may ask? Well a mini portrait session is a 30 minute session and includes an unframed 10×8″ print and a digital file of the print. These sessions are aimed to be short, but they can be extended into portrait sessions which can be 1-2 hours in length. The mini portraits are aimed at a maximum of 5 people, and you will usually have between 10-15 photographs from the session to choose products from. The full portrait session will usually have…

Salt on the Beach Fremantle Beach Wedding – Cody and Ciara

One of the most popular venues for weddings would have to be the Perth Beaches! Our beaches are the best! But, you need to make sure it is early in the day so you aren’t blown away with the Fremantle Doctor ? Cody and Ciara had a lovely beach service with a evening reception at Salt on the beach to enjoy the sunset. What’s the story behind the two of you (how/where did you meet)? We met at a dress up party and had a few drinks together the next day at the OBH. Had a kiss on the dance…

Fremantle Wedding

This is one of the most photographed walls in Fremantle… to the point you typically need to queue to photograph here on the weekends. We usually keep away from cliche or over photographed locations (aka the Boat Shed), but on this occasion time was of the essence and it fitted nicely in the schedule. For all of our weddings we plan out the day with our couple to ensure we get enough time and we can get to the right locations to get the shots which are important to them.  After all, the wedding day is all about you… not…

Basilica of St Patrick, Fremantle and Coogee

The area around Cliff Street in Fremantle is one of the most popular wedding photography locations for couples getting married near Fremantle and the Cottesloe coastal strip. It has a great range of background textures all available within a short walk of the Cliff Street parking space at the western end of High Street. Whilst most of the buildings are from the Federation period there are a range of architectural styles and textured walls including old brick and limestone facades as well as access to the Round House and nearby Bathers Beach. Sometimes there can be a bit of a…

Always remember to laugh

One of my favourite photographs from a wedding which took place at the stunning St Michael the Archangel Church, Leederville, and the reception was held at the beautiful Pagoda Ballroom, South Perth. I love the expression and make me smile every time I look at this photograph. Amanda and Mark had such a blast on their wedding day and have some wonderful memories captured and being printed in a stunning Wedding Album from Queensberry.

What makes Wedding Photography a bit Challenging?

If a montage of wedding photographs holds enough impressiveness to recall the true feeling of the wedding day, think the wedding photographer is a true genius. This is what all wedding photographers strive for. But, out of all, hardly a few succeed in delivering such results. From this, we can conclude one thing that wedding photography is not a child’s play. It requires a considerable amount of efforts, time, pre-thoughts, considerations, preparation, skills and readiness going into producing, what you think, just photos. In fact, wedding photography is more challenging than any other kind of photography. Wedding is a special…
